Jacob’s Church Easter Schedule
The Easter Egg Hunt will be on Easter Sunday, April 5th, immediately following the taking of the Jacob’s Church Congregational Picture. Donations of bagged, small, individually wrapped Easter candy will be accepted. Please, place the candy in the box in the front of the church. Thank you!
Jacob’s Church 2015 Congregational Picture – Please join us Easter Sunday April 5th, immediately after service for a group picture. The picture will be framed and placed in the church. Wear your best Smile !
Easter Sunrise Service will be held Easter Sunday, April 5th, at 7 AM. Dress warmly. Breakfast will be served afterwards in the Social Hall. Volunteers are needed to serve Sign Up in Back of church.
Good Friday Service! On Good Friday, April 3rd, Jacob’s church will be hosting a re-enactment of the Last Supper. Service will begin at 7:00 PM .
Festival Meeting – A short Festival organization meeting will be held next Sunday, March 29th immediately after church. The meeting will be short and sweet!!!!
Easter Breakfast Sign Up – If you plan on attending the Easter Breakfast, April 5th, at 8 AM, please complete the sign up form in the bulletin and place it into the offering plate.

Jacob’s Church Coyle Memorial College Scholarship applications are now available in the back of the sanctuary. Anyone planning on attending college in the fall is welcome to submit an application for a possible $500 scholarship. Scholarships are based on need and merit as determined by the Jacob’s church consistory. Applications are due May 3rd and can be given to Keith Walters, Pastor Daughtridge, or a consistory member.
Easter Lilies Mary Esta Scruggs is filling for Helen Troxel and will be taking orders for Easter Memorial Lilies today . The cost will be $7.00 Flowers should still arrive on Palm Sunday. See Mary Esta and sign up today. Final day to sign up.
Mother Daughter Banquet/ Luau Style Mark your calendar for Monday, April 27th at 6 PM for a Ladies Luau at the Landis Building. Ladies of all ages are invited. Mothers, Daughters, Grandmothers, Friends, Aunts, etc. In lieu of purchasing a ticket, we are asking that you bring a donation for the Pregnancy Ministries of Waynesboro. We are excited to be “Mothers helping Mothers” especially with Mother’s Day approaching (More to come ) (Sign-Up to begin on Easter Sunday)
