Sermon 03/14/10 “Was Christ the Messiah?” by Pastor Richard Daughtridge

“WAS CHRIST  THE MESSIAH?” by Richard Daughtridge

The Gospel writers ,the prophets of old, and Christians for over 2000 years  convinced us that Christ was the promised Messiah. As we lead up to Resurrection Sunday we will examine the evidence and strengthen the foundation of why we believe that “He Lives”.  The evidence is quite overwhelming.

Mark 8:27   And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Luke 7:19-20   And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? [20] When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?
