Dec. 21, 2008 Joy to the World Christmas Party
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PMchristmasdancers

Jacob’s Church presents “Joy to The World” a Christmas celebration focusing Christmas around the world. The activities begin with refreshments including cookies with hot and cold beverages, eggnog and various Christmas desserts. We’ll enjoy caroling around the fire barrel sharing Christmas cheer party style from 6:00 -7:00 PM
If you are not up to the cold you may join us inside the social building as the party will continue there. Mix and mingle. Enjoy food and friendship inside and out.
Then at 7:00 at the ringing of the bell we’ll all go inside the church for some special Christmas music and a message entitled “Joy to the World”.
We’ll share stories from around the world and witness in bright colors and costumes, Romanian dancers performing a Christmas dance.
In this prayer time each person will be given the name of a nation and as we go row by row in each section you will call the name of the nation you’ve selected in a roll call format. Pastor Daughtridge will then offer prayer for these nations of the world. We will address some of the great needs of our world. Peace on Earth and good will toward man will take on new meaning. We will close our prayer singing “Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel.”
